I'm researching my ancestor ownership and management of the elm Tree  
Plantation prior to - during and after the civil war. This plantation was owned  by 
John F Cavitt, Neander Y Cavitt and his wife Sarah Ann Bailey Cavitt.  
Plantation was near Boydsville-Palmersville area in the north east corner of  Weakley 
Co Tenn. The Cavitt's left Weakley Co in 1867 for Henry Co-Paris area  where 
they continued to farm. N Y was a politician during the civil war and  their 
daughter Tillie was married to O. C. Barton who built Cavitt Place in  Paris Tn.
